Compensators are used when there is significant axial movement due to thermal expansion. The small diameter compensators are the standard compensators and range from 3/4” I.D – 4” I.D. Each size of compensator is offered in two different lengths to accommodate 2 or 3 inches of compression. All compensators have a working pressure of 175 PSI and can be made with flanged with CL150 bolting, threaded or welded ends. If you require a higher pressure or a larger diameter, we can supply you with Flexicraft’s Model EP compensators which come in sizes 2” I.D. – 30” I.D. and offer larger compressions of 4, 6 and 8 inches depending on the length of the compensator. The Model EP is also valued because it is offered in 150 PSI and 300 PSI pressures (150# and 300# bolting respectively).

For applications in copper pipping we supply Flexicraft’s 2S & 3S compensators. These will come with female sweat ends in sizes 3/4" I.D – 4”” I.D. and offer compressions of 2” and 3”.
